Hodgepodge

Well, its been a crazy three weeks for The Fletchers. For the past three weeks, I've been heading to Minneapolis for a couple of days each week for work. It's been great seeing my co-workers and working with the team. Rick has also continued to travel for work and twice we were out of town at the same time! Good thing Bob and Carm are so willing and able to pitch in and stay with Mae! I know Mae had a great time with her Grandma and Grandpa Fletcher. This week while I was out of town, Rick didn't have to travel, so he played a single dad for a couple days. He is so fantastic at taking care of Mae. They are inseparatable these days. :)

Super Bowl:


We had a great time during the Super Bowl. Our friends Kim and Mike threw a party and had a chili-cook off! Rick of course took advantage of the competition and made his current verion of "Rick and Craig's Excessive Chili.... Excessively Good that is!" Rick was a little nervous about transporting the Chili, so he put the chili in the crock pot and put the crock pot in a box for safety. His mistake was putting the box and pot in the TRUNK!!! Needless to say, we lost the chili.... or most of it anyway. But there was still enough Chili left for Rick to enter his chili in the contest. He won 4th out of 6 entrants :) It was fun! And Rick won us a bottle of wine!!




Since we weren't really sure who we'd be rooting for in the Super Bowl, we decided to sport our Brown's gear since we know how slim the chances are that our beloved Cleveland Browns we actually be in a Super Bowl of their own. :)
